Brush IM LV OCB Retrofit

Brush IM LV OCB Retrofit is a dependant manual operation circuit breaker dating from the 1950`s and was manufactured and installed up to the mid 1960`s.

EDS have designed the only retrofit option for this OCB, this retrofit requires no alteration to the existing panel or control wiring and can be undertaken in as little as 30 minutes.

The EDS retrofit option incorporates a withdrawable Schneider MTZ1 ACB

Case Study:

EDS recently retrofitted 34 Brush IM OCB`s at a major UK Engineering Facility.

The EDS retrofit incorporated Schneider MTZ1 ACB`s with Blue Tooth open close.

The retrofits were installed in 4 Saturday Afternoon Shifts on a substation by substation basis, the final installation of 12 retrofits being completed in one 5 hour shift.

The complete works were undertaken without isolation of the LV Distribution Boards.
