ACB Solutions – GEC M-PACT – Fast Fit

The EDS GEC M-PACT Fast Fit Option allows the existing GEC M-PACT ACB to be retrofitted with a withdrawable Schneider MTZ or ABB Emax ACB.

All works are undertaken within the existing ACB housing with no rear access required.

The retrofit complete with a new colour-coded door is assembled and tested off-site, prior to delivery to the site.

Installation can be achieved in around 90 minutes, with no isolation required.

Once installed, the replacement of the new ACB can be undertaken by a single Engineer in around 15 minutes.

Major UK Production Facility

Electrical Distributions Solutions retrofitted 12 GEC M-PACT 1600 and 1250amp 3 and 4 pole ACBs, located in 3 GEC System 4 LV distribution panels.

The GEC M-PACT Fast Fit retrofit incorporated Schneider MTZ1 H3 ACBs c/w Micrologic 5.0X trip relays and Schneider Blue Tooth remote close capability.

Each panel retrofit of 4 ACBs was undertaken during a 5 hour installation window.
